Known as Hogeschool voor Economische Studies (HES), the school is situated in the heart of this city. Relocated in 2004 to the south-eastern region of Amsterdam, HES became the International Business School, part of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Today, the Amsterdam School of International Business (AMSIB) is home to 2,800 students and 150 employees with real-world experience.
