International Business Institute (IBI) began as a business education program under ESEC in China in 1985 as the Institute of International Trade. The name was changed to the International Business Institute in 2000. Over 225 business teachers have been sent to China by ESEC to participate in the business program. Over 10,000 Chinese students have completed the business course and been awarded the ESEC Certificate in International Business. The International Business Institute offers the Business Program to prepare students for key positions in International Business.
