The Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) is a public Brazilian university located at Florianópolis, the capital city of Santa Catarina in southern Brazil. The University is one of the leading Latin-American research institutes, and the third largest university in Brazil as well as the fifth in Latin America.
