Friedensau Adventist University (FAU) is a state-accredited church-run university. It owns the School of Social Sciences and the School of Theology, as well as the language institute for German/English and biblical languages. There are about ten scientific institutes in various research fields.
At FAU, studies take place in small study groups, with cultural diversity and international flair, on a campus where everything is pretty close. A modern library with more than 150,000 media offers a wide range of current specialist literature, reference works, and magazines as well as scientific databases. 200 students from more than 30 nations are currently studying here. Friedensau is located approx. 35 km east of Magdeburg and approx. 100 km west of Berlin and is pretty close to the highway A2.
