Recognizing the importance of nursing quality in providing medical treatment, Dr. Yui Lin Wang, a distinguished medical doctor, declared his intention to establish a system of practical education with the purpose of training qualified nurse technicians. The mission is to foster a challenging and valuable learning environment for all students at Hungkuang University. Under the guidance of the current president, Dr. Kuo Chuan Fang, the university continues to follow its developmental plans. Hungkuang University is located in Taichung County, the central part of Taiwan, about 150 km from Taipei City. University campus is situated on the coast tableland. In a clear sky, you can see the Taiwan Straits at a distance and fascinated by the spectacular view. Besides, Hungkuang University is near other universities and industrial parks, including Tunghai University, Providence University, Feng Chia University, Central Taiwan Science Park, and Taichung Industrial Park. As a result, there are convenient transportation, bountiful teaching resources, and potential industry-academy cooperation.
