MBA Institute
| France
The MBA Institute, located in Paris, offers a four-year French-American undergraduate program in international management. The school was founded in 1982 by the IPESUP group, a leading participant in the private-educational sector in France. The MBA Institute’s program is an original melding of an American B.B.A. curriculum and the curriculum of a French undergraduate business school (école de commerce). It consists principally in French, American and international management courses. Business courses are complemented by a strong liberal-arts program, including a substantial number of courses concerning the United States, as well as by the intensive study of English and at least one other modern language. The Institute thus prepares its graduates to work or study comfortably and efficiently on either side of the Atlantic. The Institute has two working languages, French and English. Roughly half the courses are taught in each language, the choice depending on the subject matter and on the professor’s mother tongue. On graduation, students begin their professional careers. After a minimum of two years of professional activity, alumni may then recontact the MBA Institute to begin the application process for a top-ranking MBA program in the United States or Europe. MBA Institute is the leading specialist in France for MBA placements and is the principal single French source of graduates from the top programs.
