The Autonomous Metropolitan University (UAM) is a public Institution with 37 years of experience and is one of the leading universities in Mexico. It offers 75 undergraduate and 75 Postgraduate programs and has over 52,862 students. It is composed of five independent campuses: Azcapotzalco, Cuajimalpa, Iztapalapa, Lerma and Xochimilco; four are strategically distributed in Mexico city, and one is in the State of Mexico divided into six academic divisions: Basic sciences and engineering, Biological sciences and health, Social sciences and humanities, Science and art for design, Communication and design, and Natural sciences.
