Roma Tre University is one of the three public universities of Rome. The Department of Engineering is one of the few in Italy that has been awarded the merit of excellence in the Civil engineering area. It offers 5 batchelor courses and 11 master courses in the areas of Civil, Electronic, Informatic and Mechanical engineering. Two of these master courses are offered in English. The Department of Engineering is based on two campus: one in the metropolitan area of Rome, the other in the nearby (30 min train) coastal area at Ostia.
