Founded in 1632, the University of Tartu (UT) is Estonia’s leading centre of research and training. It is the biggest and the oldest university in Estonia focused on high-quality studies and research. The University of Tartu is the only university in the Baltics that belongs to the top 1.2% of world's best universities (THE World University Ranking 2019).
