Are you a general dentist looking to specialise? The Doctor of Clinical Dentistry is a three-year postgraduate program that will prepare you for specialist registration and practice. The Doctor of Clinical Dentistry will develop your understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of specialist practice. Choose to specialise in one of the following fields: Dento-Maxillofacial Radiology, Endodontics, Oral Medicine, Orthodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics or Special Needs Dentistry, and gain a registrable specialist qualification. Undertake patient care at the $138 million Oral Health Centre, Herston, with the most modern equipment, technologies and teaching methods. The centre is the largest and most advanced tertiary oral health facility in Australia. Develop advanced abilities in scientific reasoning and research. You'll study the role of research in dentistry and how it can support your clinical practice. You'll also complete a supervised project for submission to a peer-reviewed journal.
