The Degree in psychology is the basic level of training that qualifies to practice as a psychologist in Spain, and does not have by itself recognition as a health profession, therefore, its graduates can legally develop all Psychological professional skills, except those that involve valuing and to intervene on health in the health field. These competences have already been framed in the General Public Health Law (BOE 33/2011) which stipulates that it is compulsory to take a postgraduate course in General Sanitary psychology in order to be recognized as a General Sanitary psychologist.
