Master's Degree in Cultural Heritage Management and Museology | Master's degree | Art & Design | On Campus | 1 year | Universitat de Barcelona | Spain
In recent years, public cultural policies and the social reassessment of heritage have led to the creation or expansion of numerous heritage institutions and cultural facilities that need professionals skilled in the conservation, dissemination and management of cultural heritage. This master's degree offers professional training for work in museums, heritage institutions, public bodies, and businesses in the culture industry, and also prepares for professional practice in emerging areas and profiles of heritage management.
This master's degree focuses fundamentally on professional practice: the main objective is to provide students with theoretical and practical training through which they will acquire the tools to pursue a career in the field of heritage.
The program is largely interdisciplinary in its organization and content; lecturers from fourteen departments across seven different faculties contribute to the tuition, and students will also benefit from the expertise of visiting teaching staff on Spanish and international mobility programs and guest lecturers.
