The Master's degree in Ethics and Democracy introduces students to cross-disciplinary education and provides a qualification in the fields of ethics and political Philosophy. In particular, it provides advanced knowledge of business ethics and the theory of democracy. The programme has its origins in the interuniversity doctoral programme Ethics and Democracy, which was recognised with a quality mark by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science in 2004. Pioneering research in the field of applied ethics and political Philosophy has meant that, since 2003, it has been recognised as a Government of Valencia Excellence R+D+I group, with a PROMETEO research group excellence programme until 2014.
