Nursing | Bachelor's degree | Health & Well-Being | On Campus | 3 years | University of Birmingham | United Kingdom
At Birmingham the theory and practice of nursing are studied in the context of cutting edge research within the university and on clinical placements in a variety of NHS and non-NHS healthcare organisations. With three clinical placements in each year of the programme, between four and eight weeks in length, you will have the opportunity to practice nursing in some of the country’s leading healthcare trusts throughout the Birmingham and Solihull area.
Our distinctive first year means you will gain broad experience of nursing in Adult, Mental Health and Child and Public Health clinical settings, before expressing a preference for the field of practice you wish to study in years 2 and 3. We also offer worldwide elective placement opportunities to gain a wider perspective of nursing around the globe.
This degree programme leads to a professional nursing qualification, along with eligibility to register as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
