The programme aims to develop nurse leaders who are recognised experts in the care of older people, who have national influence and are able to drive change so that the care of older people is compassionate, safe, person centred and of the highest possible quality. There is national recognition of the importance of developing and training nurses caring for older people with complex needs. This programme aims to provide the knowledge and skills required for nurses to excel in their role.
