Our course is specially designed for managers working within health and social care settings, helping to improve their skills by focusing on their workplace. We look at managing, leading and supervising strategies within your organisation, conceptualising underpinning theories and principles with management and leadership practices. You'll focus on your own workplace and explore how the knowledge you learn can best be applied to your work setting, ensuring that you get the relevant information to help advance your career. If you've got the ambition to improve your qualifications, then our masters level course will prove your skills and give you a head start in climbing the employment ladder. You will need to complete an induction prior to commencement of your first module. We have a comprehensive online induction package to welcome you to both the university and your programme of study; alternatively classroom-based induction days take place at our Lancaster and Carlisle campuses and are usually scheduled for the first week of each semester.
