As a user experience (UX) designer, your goal is to make interaction with technology more accessible, meaningful and pleasant for human users. Alternatively, as a user interface (UI) designer, you create the systems and artifacts which facilitate this interaction by employing a combination of visual, oral and haptic design solutions.
UX/UI designers straddle the disciplines of cognitive sciences, market research, emerging technologies, product development and design to create seamless experiences for mostly digital products, services and processes. They are curious about human behavior and how design can improve the tech experience for customers in an ever more complex world.
