Graphic design majors have a variety of opportunities to participate in internships with local businesses or organizations and with offices on campus. Students also participate in service learning projects in the classroom to design publications for community partners.
Students in the graphic design major enjoy access to the Mazza Museum, the most diverse collection of original artwork by children's book illustrators in the world. Students attend annual Mazza conferences, interact with nationally recognized award-winning illustrators, complete internships with the museum, and volunteer with monthly educational events.
Senior graphic design majors participate in capstone coursework that includes career preparation, a senior exhibition, and professionally-oriented individualized work with local clients. Students also have opportunities to participate in juried exhibitions, including the annual University of Findlay Juried Student Art and Design Exhibition at the Lea Gallery.
