The rapidly changing patterns of worldwide social, political and economic exchange exemplified by the end of the Cold War, the technology boom and bust cycle and the contentious discourse of neoliberal globalization have focused the attention of students and their potential future employers on the multidisciplinary perspective offered by studying International Political Economy. Students will study the interaction between markets and politics in conjunction with policy on these areas and how it influences markets. Political Economy at BSIS focuses on the state, markets and society, the study of economic law, corporate governance and capitalism and democracy.
