The Doctoral programme in Business Economics, an inter-university programme offered jointly by the four public universities in Castile and Leon, has been awarded a Citation for Excellence by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. The programme is aimed at equipping students to conduct specialist research in the field of business. The majority of students will have successfully completed the joint research Master's degree in Business Administration and Economics. Among the required research outcomes, by the end of the doctoral programme students must have had a paper accepted at a national or international conference, and one of the articles comprising the doctoral thesis must have been accepted in a high-impact journal (JCR-Thomson Reuters).
