Doctorate in The Hispanic World: Roots, Development and Impact | Doctorate / PhD | Humanities & Culture | On Campus | 3 years | University of León | Spain

The doctoral programme “THE HISPANIC WORLD: ROOTS, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPACT” enables doctoral students to explore historical and cultural relationships within a broad time frame that commences in Classical Antiquity, continues and is enriched throughout the Middle Ages and diversifies into different fields of enquiry after the emergence of Renaissance Humanism and the subsequent scientific revolution, until reaching the present day. A multidisciplinary approach is taken to address the chronological breadth and diversity of materials and knowledge, considering several lines of research conducted from diverse and complementary perspectives that can be broached from any of the disciplines pertaining to our area of study and branch of knowledge: “Arts and Humanities” (Royal Decree 1393/2007 of 29 October).
