The Master's Degree in Nursing in Critical and Emergency Care trains professionals prepared to face the health problems of critical patients who come to the emergency services and are admitted to hospital critical care units, at the same time we encourage research, professional leadership and the resolution of health problems.
Our students are trained to: Recognize and interpret the severity in critical patients in critical care and emergency units. Apply techniques of advanced resuscitation and stabilization of critical patients. Work as a team in critical situations, including the ability to communicate effectively with other professionals. Carry out a constructive discussion within the healthcare team that attends critical patients, defending the best options according to scientific evidence. Classify patients according to their severity and to prioritize their attention depending on the expected benefit of the procedure to be applied.
