BA (Hons) in Music Business is a specialist vocational programme designed for those wishing to pursue a career in a range of music industry roles, such as A&R, management or promotion. The aim of the course is to nurture entrepreneurial flair while developing real-world skills and experience in recording, releasing and marketing music. You’ll be offered the perfect opportunity to build a detailed knowledge of the industry while developing your network and your own ideas in a creative space, using a mixture of both existing and emerging digital technologies. Our professionally connected tutors will guide and support you through the teaching of personal, project management and business skills integral to artist and event management, marketing, music publishing, legislation and label strategies for recording and releasing music. You’ll also experience a number of exciting opportunities to develop ‘hands-on’ industry knowledge through recording projects, live events, work placements and internships with a range of creative industry employers.
