This course is accredited by the Baby Friendly Initiative and upon completion of this course you will be eligible for registration as a midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Midwifery care is provided in a variety of settings such as homes, hospital wards and community settings. Student midwives are exposed to practice-based learning in a variety of settings to enable the development of key midwifery skills. This focus on developing practical skills as well as theoretical knowledge will ensure that you finish the degree with a deep understanding of all aspects of midwifery.
