Research supervision is offered in all areas of translation studies, including historical Linguistics and translation studies from the 18th century to the present. Particular research strengths include audio-visual translation, translation theory, translation of literary and philosophical texts, translation between Asian (especially Chinese) and Western contexts, post-colonial translation and intercultural competences. They can offer expert supervision for projects involving English and the following languages: French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Serbian, Croatian, Slovene, Dutch.
