This programme provides supervised clinical training and offers the opportunity to apply in practice the principles of diagnosis and treatment planning; students receive 1 to 1 hands-on teaching and develop the required skills in minor oral surgery in clinical settings; students will provide treatment to their own patients starting from initial consultation and assessment through to surgery and management of post-operative complications; the programme is delivered in collaboration with The City of London Dental School and is aimed at professionals who intend to expand on existing knowledge and skills; students will develop an understanding of the different requirements essential to the provision of ethical, predictable and evidence-based treatment.
