Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics) (Taught) | Master's degree | Health & Well-Being | On Campus | 3 years | BPP University College | United Kingdom
This programme provides dental surgeons with the core knowledge and clinical skills essential for the delivery of competent, high-quality dental care. It encompasses a blended learning approach and consists of a combination of lectures, seminars, workshops, clinical case discussions and laboratory sessions. The flexible modular structure enables the programme to meet a wide range of student needs. You will also have the opportunity to meet with colleagues from other programmes to consider different methods of managing patient cases with a multidisciplinary approach and develop sound judgement based on evidence. In the first year you will learn the principles of each specialist area. In the second year, these foundations will be built upon by consolidating your knowledge in your chosen discipline, in addition to modules that focus on advancing your clinical practice and professional competencies. In the third year the nature of evidence-based practice is reinforced, culminating in a professional project or dissertation. At the end of the third year, following successful completion of the programme, you will be awarded an MClinDent in your chosen field of study.
