The Master of Philosophy (Dentistry) course is aimed at those who intend to pursue academic careers in oral health or a related field and can be used as a foundation to commencing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Normally completed over two years full-time, or four years part-time, the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is a research-based degree in which students undertake supervised research in a range of dental specialisations or disciplines. This course offers students the chance to work with a supervisor who, through their own research, is actively contributing to the development of new knowledge and understanding in the field of dentistry.
