Come and study in the leading master's Program in the field of vocal music and stage performance, preparing you for demanding solo roles on the opera stages. The Program consists of ten 6-8-week teaching modules, which are all planned and scheduled in advance for the entire course of your studies. The focus of the modules alternates: first, you will develop your basic skills and professional competence and become familiar with the material and themes of the upcoming productions, while the next module includes a rehearsal period and the actual stage performances. The mandatory thesis project consists of productions and related performances. You will work closely with the Sibelius Academy's master's students in opera coaching. You will work on the same productions and grow as artists together. The Sibelius Academy's opera training is actively involved in international networks, especially the NordOpera network. The Program has close cooperation with the Department of Vocal Music. You can also choose courses organised by the other two academies of the University and complete so-called joint studies that are available for all students.
