History of Art | Bachelor's degree | Art & Design | On Campus | 3 years | University of Warwick | United Kingdom
This course enables you to explore art history from many perspectives and includes a term studying in Venice. You will study a rich and varied range of primarily western art from the Middle Ages to the present day.
Regular visits to galleries, museums and architectural sites are an integral part of the course, allowing you to observe works of art in situ, and many modules are based on collections, such as those at Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire or in Warwick Arts Centre’s Mead Gallery. Small class sizes ensure close supervision by dedicated, research-active academic staff, and flexible module pathways enable you to tailor your course to match your own interests. Throughout the course you will develop the ability to research and analyse text and images from different viewpoints, and to present and discuss your ideas with confidence.
