History of Art with Italian | Bachelor's degree | Art & Design | On Campus | 3 years | University of Warwick | United Kingdom
This course combines a solid grounding in the History of Art from the Middle Ages to the present day with Italian language classes. It is designed for students who are primarily interested in art history but who are also keen to become proficient in Italian.
You will benefit from small-class teaching by dedicated, research-active staff, with regular visits to galleries, museums and architectural sites. You will develop a wide-ranging understanding of Italian art and culture, although you will also be encouraged to explore other areas of art history. Core modules develop your ability to research and analyse text and images from different viewpoints, equipping you for careers requiring an ability to think analytically, to present ideas with clarity, and to communicate effectively with others. Integrated language modules throughout the course will build your Italian language skills, enhanced by a term in Venice in your second year.
