Business and Psychology | Bachelor's degree | Humanities & Culture | On Campus | 3 years | Buckinghamshire New University | United Kingdom

Business is about organisations, processes and, most importantly, about people. It’s about the inner workings of an organisation; the study of human behaviour within a business environment that can make or break an organisation. This joint award Program provides various opportunities for you to apply core psychology knowledge within a corporate setting. The course enables you to study business and combine it with the study of human behaviour. Understanding human behaviour impacts significantly on key business roles such as marketing or human resource management (HRM). How do customers think? How do our families impact our choices of brands and our decisions about where and when to shop? How do we encourage employees to maximise their performance at work, and offer excellent customer service? How do we motivate employees? This joint business and psychology Program would be an excellent route into marketing or human resources (HR) and business management in general. The Program is equally suitable for students who are interested in studying Psychology, but who do not see themselves working in a therapy/counselling role but more of an Occupational Psychology route, maybe working in hospitals, prisons or schools. You would apply your knowledge of psychology to an organisation, to support the development and wellbeing of individuals within the organisation.
