The Master’s programme Classics is a small-scale academic programme that covers a wide range of fields such as Greek and Latin literature and linguistics, ancient Christianity, Byzantinology, ancient philosophy, intertextuality, narratology, and reception studies. You will analyse sources more in-depth than during your Bachelor’s phase and will learn to handle academic instruments. This will enable you to apply your specialism within Classical Antiquity to texts and other cultural phenomena from later periods, and to get acquainted with relevant contemporary discussions.
