The International Foundation in Law prepares international students for direct entry to year one of the LLB program within City University London Law School. By combining academic study, intensive English language preparation, study skills and cultural orientation, the International Foundation programme prepares students with the academic, English language and study skills that are needed for university success. Students will study compulsory modules including Academic English, Foundation Mathematics and Study Skills. These modules introduce students to the academic conventions used within UK universities; all the key mathematical concepts needed to study the first year of an Undergraduate degree programme, and allows students to develop study skills that are essential to degree study, including time management and critical thinking.
