This Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) program provides instruction in air conditioning, heating and refrigeration. Introductory courses in electricity, electric motors and theory of refrigeration are included. Advanced work in commercial HVAC includes reach-in and walk-in units found in stores, dairies, and markets. Other areas of study include uses of air conditioning, temperature and humidity control, air circulation, cleaning, installation and troubleshooting of equipment. Students are required to provide their own basic tools.
