MSc Medical Genetics at the CSMM The MSc in medical genetics at the Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine is a 1-year master degree program taught in English. Students will also have the possibility of completing this program in 2-years with part-time studies. This medical genetics degree is comprised of mandatory and elective courses in medical genetics and molecular medicine, followed by a master’s research project. Successful students will have to pass all course examinations and the MSc thesis examination or the library project report. The program promotes excellence and educates students on the significant issues in medical genetics. The challenging curriculum includes mandatory taught courses which cover the main aspects of medical genetics and a number of elective courses enabling students to broaden their knowledge on other fields of medical genetics. Research for the medical genetics program are conducted in the state-of-the-art departments and the clinics of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING). As an international center of excellence, CING carries out cutting edge research in medical genetics.
