Mental health problems can affect anyone, at any point, with up to one in four people experiencing mental health difficulties during their lifetime. That’s where you come in – as a trained mental health nurse, you can develop specialist care skills, and make a real difference in supporting those who are struggling with these challenging emotional experiences.
Nurses can promote mental health by building good relationships with people, encouraging healthy behaviours, recognising and offering a variety of recovery informed approaches. Registered mental health nurses are highly sought after in a diverse range of essential roles and practice specialities across the health and social care sector in the UK and overseas.
On this course, our strong links with service providers across the region and integrated placements, will help you put theory into practice and build your knowledge, skills and confidence in caring for people with a range of different mental health experiences.
To succeed, you will need to be committed and dedicated, with the willingness to give time to others demonstrating a high degree of care and compassion.
This course is only available for UK/EU students.
