The aim of the programme is to produce graduates with the knowledge and skills to develop the complex software solutions that organizations need and who are equipped to both work in China and in partnership with Chinese organisations. The programme is a partnership with Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), China. Students on this programme complete a Certificate in Chinese language and culture in Dublin prior to spending a semester in HIT; students then complete the remainder of the programme in DIT completing a dissertation in an advanced topic. The programme also includes an optional 6 month work placement during which students get the opportunity to work in an industry or research environment.
