The goal of this program is to provide better understanding of the growing presence and importance of cultural heritage in a European context by applying a multinational, interdisciplinary approach. Over the past decade, academics have started recognizing the importance and impact of European cultural heritage on identity and contemporary culture. For this reason, the consortium has commonly decided to use its expertise to develop a new interdisciplinary program and curriculum and to create the first European joint master program on European Heritage Studies that connects the academic fields of Social Sciences and Humanities.
