With a focus on media production, livestreaming and teamworking, this course will prepare you to drive the future of this fast-evolving industry. Working in a purpose-built esports studio within Falmouth's world-renowned Games Academy, you'll get hands-on experience of advanced livestreaming setups and broadcasts for esports events. Your practical work will be backed by a grounding in business, financial and legal considerations, marketing, branding, live events and games culture. You will: Produce livestreams to deliver esports matches to viewers in an engaging and informative way Collaborate with multi-specialist teams to develop and execute high quality esports events and broadcasts Gain the skills necessary to innovate in the emerging landscape of live digital content creation and entertainment Learn how to evaluate the production of livestreamed content to better meet the needs of audiences and innovate to maintain audience engagement Develop working technical knowledge of streaming protocols, distributed systems, and video encoding Explore brand management, community outreach and marketing in relation to esports Discover the financial, legal and ethical considerations of the industry
