Bachelor of Commerce (Law) | Bachelor's degree | Law | On Campus | 3 years | Federation University Australia | Australia
You're passionate about working with people, solving problems and have an interest in law - but you don’t necessarily want to become a barrister or solicitor. By specialising in law during your commerce degree, you'll have a wide range of job opportunities available to you when you graduate. Whilst this degree does not lead to a professional legal qualification, your options could include government advisory work, overseeing commercial sales and helping small businesses with their contracts.
Our Bachelor of Commerce (Law) will equip you with high level analytical skills that will enable you to recognise and analyse the legal problems that can arise in business transactions. You'll learn about law around the globe as well as for the online world, how law is created and applied, how money and the law interact and how to manage legal risk. You'll also learn the essential business skills needed to excel in the corporate world, like responsible business, accounting, understanding the digital revolution and economics.
Double majors are also available in Accounting or Economics and Finance.
This program may require participation in a range of WIL/work experience type activities and these will negotiated with students individually. The time component is variable.
