The world of professional audio is wide, exciting and competitive. With a concentration in Music Production, you’ll learn how to combine your creativity with technology to help create and blend sound. You’ll receive training in recording, mixing, and editing; a foundation in the physics of sound and electricity; and an in-depth survey of popular music fundamentals. With plenty of hands-on labs, you’ll learn engineering techniques from expert faculty as you master equipment in world-class studios. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to gain experience outside of the classroom in recording sessions, concerts, live television broadcasts, field trips, and film productions.
