Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering | Master's degree | Engineering & Technology | On Campus | 2 years | Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis | USA
The graduate program leading to the MS in ME degree is organized into four areas of study.
The Solid Mechanics, Biomechanics and Design Track is for students interested in the study of solids, stress analysis, kinetics, vibration, structural mechanics, biomechanics including musculoskeletal systems, joint mechanics, dental mechanics, medical instrumentation, and design.
The Fluid and Thermal Sciences Track is for students interested in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and computational fluid dynamics.
The Energy and Materials Track is for students interested in this broad field of engineering that deals with energy efficiency, energy services, facility management, environmental compliance and alternative energy technologies.
The Mechatronics and Controls Track is for students interested in the study of mechanical systems, electro-mechanical systems, control theory, micro-controllers, sensors, and actuators.
