Our four year MPharm course with integrated placements throughout is specifically designed to meet the rapidly changing requirements for the practise of pharmacy. From the start of the course you will be encouraged to apply your understanding of the scientific principles of pharmacy within a patient focussed setting, through case based workshops, problem based learning, integrated scientific and clinical scenarios. The course benefits from substantial links with the profession including consultant pharmacists, experts from pharmaceutical industry and pharmacy entrepreneurs. We have strong links with six large NHS trusts and a range of employers from the community and primary care sectors. This means we are able to bridge the gap between the student and career pharmacist at multiple levels – giving you an informed choice of how you might specialise and develop your career. Our long established reputation and professional accreditation ensures that career prospects of our graduates are first-class. We have a long track record of producing high-quality pharmacy graduates, our predecessor institutions can trace their roots all the way back to 1847. Since we received our charter in 1966, we are proud to have produced over 5,000 pharmacy graduates.
