Real estate is fundamental to everything we do; we need property to live in, work in, and for our leisure. It is an important commercial and industrial resource, but is also home to many national and international investment funds. This degree will provide you with detailed knowledge of property investment and appraisals within a responsibly managed and sustainable environment. You'll also take your learning outside the classroom with field trips to major cities included in the course. Recent students have visited the City of London, Dublin, and Madrid, where they have studied commercial real estate management principles first hand. If you are studying the full time route you will also undertake a Business Readiness programme which will help you develop new skills to prepare for placements and future employment. You will take workshops on CV writing as well as developing your communication, time management and presentation skills. As well as the opportunity to undertake a business experience internship or a Real Estate Consultancy project. This will span between two weeks and three months, where you will put your learning into practice.
