The Bachelor of European History study program reveals the evolution and trends of European society, helps to better understand the idea of a united Europe and to adopt European historical experience. Studying history, students acquire the skills of searching, collecting, accumulating and systematizing scientific information, its critical assessment and analysis.
The curriculum consists of three main blocks: 1) History of Europe in chronological order from ancient times to the end of the twentieth century; 2) History of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and History of Lithuania in the 19th- 20th centuries; 3) Subjects for the study of major transformations in the history of Europe.
The duration of the program is 3 years. Graduates are awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree ( ISCED6 level). Those who have completed the Bachelor's program can continue their studies in the Master's programs in the History of the Baltic States and in the Archeology of Landscape.
