Our course provides the skills to become a professional occupational therapist who is able to deliver and evaluate occupational therapy services in a range of traditional and innovative settings. On successful completion students can apply to become registered occupational therapists. The hallmark of the course is the emphasis on understanding humans as occupational beings, and the relationship between occupation and health. Students explore topics such as occupational science, the History and development of the therapy, the complex nature of human occupation, the impact of illness, and the relative detrimental effects on health and well-being.
