The foundation degree in acting, awarded by De Montfort University, is designed to mirror some of the experience that takes place at a conservatoire, with its concentration on professional training and focus on the core skills of acting, voice and movement. Due to the intensive nature of the course, we take a small cohort so that we can tailor the work to your needs. Equally, you will get intensive support from tutors. As a graduate from this programme you will be eligible to formally progress onto the third year of the DMU BA (Hons) Performing Arts (Professional Studies). You can also apply to other universities that run related top up degrees. Previous graduates from this course have been successful as actors, teachers, and community artists.
