The Certificate in Accounting is directed towards students who would like to prepare for an entry-level position in the accounting office. The Certificate in Accounting aims to give students an understanding of the primary elements of the language and theories of accounting, while recognizing the importance of ethics, social responsibility, and diversity as legitimate accounting objectives. Students will learn how to use creative and critical-thinking strategies in the solution of complex business situations through the application of learned accounting concepts as well as develop communication and teamwork skills for the purpose of ensuring future personal and professional success.
