This course is a comprehensive programme of modules that delivers both theory and essential industrial experience employers seek from graduates. Through a careful balance of lectures, practical sessions and case studies, students develop a thorough understanding of the properties and capabilities of metals, polymers, ceramics and composites. These can be applied to a wide range of industrial contexts. Students also learn how to develop and process new materials, which they can use within workable components and effectively drive new developments in products and Technology.
